This is the second time I went to Hanoi , this is a new hotel with the reasonable price. I feel satisfy to stay in this hotel , the staff are very friendly and they upgrade my room to luxury room when I arrived.
The staff was very friendly and would do anything to help out. We arrived early in the morning ( 6 am ) and was able to get a room to rest in before checking in, plus we had a free breakfast. Breakfast buffet is not the biggest but you can order a lot of different dishes from the kitchen. The room we booked was not available so we got a bigger room for the same price. The room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. We booked a trip to Sapa with the hotel and the price seemed resonable compared to the prices on the street. The trip was nice and we were comfortable booking through the hotel.
It's a bit close to the railroad but it didn't bother us.
Very friendly staff. Their service was excellent. Compared to other hotels in Vietnam they were not so pushy to sell their services. They sent us an email to ask if we wanted a pickup service from the airport. The price they ask is not too high (15 usd) You might get a taxi from the airport at 12usd with a lot of bargaining. I needed a sim card for my mobile phone. They sent someone and got my sim card in less that 10 minutes. The breakfast was good. The room we had was big. As well as the bathroom The location was good. It was nice to be close to the old quarter and still outside of it.
You might get some noise from the trains. But that's not so bad at all. There aren't that much trains.
Very polite staff - esp there's one who remembers my name & he greets me each time. Extra-mile effort: I was checking out early (at 6am), and they had specially packed a breakfast pack for me. This was well before the kitchen opens at 6:30 am.
1. The add-on price of US5/night for not pre-requesting twin-share beds, then finding out upon arrival that my male friend & I (2 non-gays) were offered a matrimonial bed. 2. Bikes parked inside the lobby at early morning & late at night. (Understandable, this is common practice in Vietnam.)
The price is cheap the staff is friendly
It is not quity around the hotel
Great staff, Good English, Good Place to stay as a base for going to Sapa and Halong Bay. Staff are happy to find a room in the early morning on return from tours and give you breakfast. Close to the old town for shopping
Good location. Staff was very helpful and spoke English. I arrived early on first day after a 10 flight. They allowed me to sleep in a room while mine was being prepared. Good value for the cost!
Staff very helpful and friendly. Room spacious and clean with amenities.
The location was hard to find until we got the know our way around. Even the tuc tuc drivers didn't know where it was!
I really enjoyed my 4 night stay at The Landmark Hotel, Hanoi. My room was spacious and comfortable for my needs, it had everything, 32in flat screen TV and PC, and also a wireless connection which worked perfectly. If you were also watching the pounds on a long holiday, such as me, there was even a weighing scales, thankfully it tipped in the right direction for me!! . Ammlthough the room was great, The staff at this hotel are what really made my stay so enjoyable, Thanh & the girls on reception were so welcoming, and were always there to greet me with a smile and help with everything. The brekfast was great, good selection, and again the staff here, from the lady & guy who made brekfast to order each morning, and waiting staff were all great. I have no hesitation givng this hotel 10 out of 10 recommendatiob.
The staff was always helpful for information
The "cheapest" room without window is not so comfortable and for some dollars more you have a much nicer room
An excellent hotel we stayed there for a total few nights in October. It was our first trip to Vietnam so we didn't know what to expect , the Landmark exceeded our expectations. It is located on the edge of the Old Quarter, which suited us. The rooms, service are beyond reproach and the staff always available ready to help, nothing seems to be too much trouble. We had a room on the 8th floor , then had a couple of days away and on our return we had a room on the same floor - they were very quiet - nice view. Before arrving, after reading some reviews, we are worried about the noise from next door construction, but when we arrived, luckily the construction works fully completed. There is very good Vietnamese restaurant nearby, which was recommended by the staff - Quan An Ngon - good food and price. We made some tour bookings through the Hotel, all was good. We would come back again, we love this hotel where the staff are also very helpful
Helpful, friendly staff and a good location. Walking distance to many attractions and within the old district. We changed rooms on the 2nd to day to one with a balcony which was great. Breakfast was good. Tours could be booked at the hotel. Our bags were able to be stored while we went to Halong Bay. We departed early in the morning to catch a flight and a takeaway breakfast was prepared for us, even though we hadn't asked. Would stay again.
Excellent location to see the old Hanoi life before it develops and disapears.
We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. Firstly we requested for airport pick-up service, very easy, hotel's driver was waiting for us at the exit gate, it took just 5 minutes that we already on the way to the city. Warmly welcome by hotel staff when we arrive, tea, coffee and juice are offered with a smile. We check-in at 9.30 am without any fee and it is a complimentary. Our room is very nice and clean with a nice view window facing to street, a little noise but not a problem. Breakfast is aware some, they served both buffet and set menu. Over all, everything is good.
We stayed in 9 hotels through Vietnam but The Landmark Hanoi is the best.. We were upgraded in Deluxe room ( Room 704) while we booked Standard one. This room as big windows with very nice view. We got 2 small bottles of water, tea and coffee for complimentary everyday. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the cleanliness of the hotel which made our stay very comfortable. Recommend this hotel for all!
